AngioDynamics provides benefits to patients by being the leader in design, development, manufacturing and marketing of innovative, proprietary, therapeutic devices used by interventionalists and surgeons for the minimally invasive treatment of peripheral vascular disease, tumor therapy and other, non-vascular diseases. Our summer internship program will give interns a project based learning experience that will strive to build your understanding of how a medical device business operates, enhance your skillset and grow your network. This internship will provide practical, professional experience for the college student while contributing to the overall goals of the Peripheral Vascular (PV) Marketing team.

The PV Brand Management Intern will assist with day-to-day marketing functions and have the opportunity to learn valuable business skills such as project management, meeting facilitation, creative brainstorming, editing, writing, and much more. The intern will assist in, and in some cases drive, creative projects. Examples include creating/updating marketing materials such as brochures, digital and print ads, patient materials; driving social media content; product naming and launches, podcasts, e-newsletters, etc. to drive the branding strategy for PV marketing. The intern will work directly with the PV Brand Manager to help drive the strategic deliverables of the business unit and will have cross-functional access to outside departments.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials through writing, editing and creative direction
  • Serve as an active team member across departments to achieve project goals
  • Manage the review process for marketing materials approvals and use
  • Serve as point of contact with outside vendors, manage relationships and provide improvement recommendations
  • Maintain marketing print and digital fulfillment
  • Work on projects that will help develop analytical, audit, research, testing and validation skills.
  • Attend and participate in department meetings.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and forms.
  • Use Excel, Word, Agile, and Project Management platform to create correspondence, spreadsheets, access data, manage projects etc.
  • Provide customer service to the department’s internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
